'Dad shot me': Dying words of daughter, 19, as she and her mother were killed by her father as a 'punishment for leaving him' before he turned the shotgun on himself, leaving behind a note saying: 'Karma is a bitch'
A 'bullying' husband wrote 'karma is a b***h' before he shot dead his wife and daughter after he ambushed them outside a leisure centre when she left him after 26 years, an inquest heard today.
Lance
Hart, 57, penned a 12-page suicide note before he blasted his wife
Claire, 50, and their 19-year-old daughter Charlotte before turning the
shotgun on himself in Spalding on July 20.
As
he ate a 'last supper' of paella and wine in his garden on the night
before the murders he wrote: 'Revenge is a dish best served cold. Karma
is a b***h'.
The
killer also said his three children were 'conspiring' against him
so to spite his surviving two sons he chose to murder their mother and
only sister.
In a message to his family he wrote: 'You completely destroyed my life without giving me a chance so I will destroy yours.'
Horrified
witnesses rushed to help and found Claire and her estranged husband
dead but Charlotte was still alive and used her final words to say: 'It
was my dad who shot me'.
Hart knew his wife was going swimming with Charlotte and lay in wait for them in the leisure centre's car park in Spalding, Lincolnshire before gunning them down.
Jose Mourinho charged over referee comments
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was on Thursday charged
with misconduct over comments he made about the referee in charge of
this month's Liverpool game, the Football Association has announced.

questioning referee Anthony Taylor's suitability to take charge of the

putting such a pressure on him that I feel that it will be difficult
for him to have a very good performance."

misconduct in respect of comments he made relating to the appointed
match referee, prior to the Liverpool v Manchester United fixture on

US and allies prepare to take Raqqa from Isis as battle for Mosul continues
Before Iraqi forces and their US backers have set foot in Mosul, the US and its allies have begun preparations to imminently wrest the Syrian city of Raqqa from the Islamic State, a momentous decision aimed at destroying what is left of Isis’s self-declared caliphate.
The US defense chief, Ashton Carter, meeting in Paris with his counterparts in the anti-Isis coalition, vowed that Iraqi forces, Syrian Arab and Kurdish allies and US special operations troops and airpower could take away Isis’s Iraqi and Syrian capitals practically simultaneously.
“We’ve planned for that, and we have the resources for both,” Carter told NBC News early Wednesday, saying an attack on Raqqa would commence "in the next few weeks"

At least 600 taken to hospital after 70 killed in Cameroon train derailment
Rescue workers are searching for more injured or dead after accident on line between capital Yaoundé and economic hub of Douala
Authorities in Cameroon rushed more than 600 injured people to hospitals in the country’s two main cities on Saturday a day after an overcrowded train derailed, killing more than 70 people.
Bodies remained strewn along the tracks at Eseka, which is about 75 miles west of Yaoundé, as rescue workers searched for more injured or dead. The injured were being taken to hospitals in the capital, Yaoundé, and the port city where the train was heading, Douala, officials said, as the president declared Monday to be a national day of mourning.
“My sincere condolences to the families of the victims of the derailment of the Camrail train,” President Paul Biya said on his official Facebook page. About 70 people died and 600 were wounded, he said, and the cause of the crash was being investigated.
The local hospital, with only about 60 beds, had been overwhelmed, said transport minister Edgard Alain Mebe Ngo’o. “I am calling on everyone to double efforts to save the lives of the injured,” he said.
