BREAKING NEWS: Plane carrying 72 passengers - including a top Brazilian football team forced to change flights at the last minute - crashes in Colombian mountains 'with just six survivors'

Top flight Brazilian side Chapecoense (left) were on their way from Bolivia to Medellin International Airport in Colombia to play in the Copa Sudamerica final when the plane came down (top right). The aircraft, which was carrying nine crew, crashed at
about 10.15pm after suffering power failures while flying through the mountainous Antioquia Department. There are reports that 27-year-old defender Alan Ruschel was one of just six survivors from the crash and is now being treated in hospital for a broken hip and head injuries. Ambulances (bottom right) ferrying survivors to hospital can only get to within 30 minutes' walk of the spot where the plane has crashed near the town of La UniĆ³n, it has emerged.
