The gist of the entire issue is a refusal of the driver to part with #50 at the check point at David Mark Golf Course. The hot pursue by Police and firing by the Police led to fatal accident at Ijegwu (see pictures). The brutal and callous cool murder of the hapless pregnant mother whose remains lied at morgue, General Hospital,Oju L.G.A, requires the intervention of IGP to unravel the identity of the so-called criminals masquerading as police officer in the overriding interest of peace because the youth are aggrieve with this dastardly and inhuman act that diminish our humanity as Igede nation and to avoid reprisal action.The Police carted N24k from the driver with phones and money of five passengers. We are on ground to ensure peace in the presence of patent and manifest justice by bringing the culprits to book.
We are grateful to Commissioner of Police from Igede extraction, CP, Oga Ero, Force Headquarters, Abuja and Commissioner of Police, Benue as we have appointment 2moro with victims and deceased family. We visited the victims especial the driver who narrated what transpired. This case shall serve as acid test to halt Police excesses in Obi and Nigeria at large. The DPO from Obi is furious as Igede is a law abiding citizens. Am overwhelm with the zeal of the vigilant Group from Okpokwu and Odiapa Council Wards. We must rise to stop victimization of Igede nation,
