Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand is temporally shutdown due to the earthquakke that occurred this morning.


The University authority posted a message on their Facebook today urging their Students not to come to school until 12 noon after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake strikes, with aftershocks still coming
It reads: All Victoria University campuses will be closed until 12 noon on Monday 14 November. After this morning’s earthquakes all buildings on all campuses are being
checked. While it appears there is no significant damage we will be undertaking further checks throughout the morning. Staff and students should not come to the University until after 12 noon. Further updates will be posted on this page in the morning.
