A murder investigation has been launched after a woman's body was discovered in a suitcase in an alleyway. Police
were called to a walkway off Cromer Street in Leicester at around
9.30am yesterday and forensic officers are
examining the area.
A 50-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody, police added.
A cordon was put in place while police forensics experts examined the scene in Cromer Street.

in a suitcase.'
