Bala Chinda, 26, throttled vice girl Jessica McGraa with a scarf when he
arrived for a hook-up at her flat in Aberdeen without cash. Her husband has said he wants to look into her murderer’s eyes and
demand he reveal why he took her life.
Distraught Gareth, 57, will insist on a face-to-face cellblock showdown with evil Chinda to quiz him on his tragic wife’s final hours.
Monster Chinda, 26, was convicted of choking 37-year-old mum-of-one Jessica this week.
As the fiend began his minimum 18-year stretch behind bars on Thursday, Gareth said: “I desperately want to know what happened to Jessica. Why did he kill her?
“I want to stare him down eyeball to eyeball and hopefully I can finally get the truth out of him — just now we don’t know anything.”
Gareth and Nigerian-born Jessica split just over a year before she was raped and killed by Chinda.
But the couple — who wed in the West African nation in 2005 and have a son — still spoke on the phone several times a week.
Gareth said: “I probably knew her better than anyone. I miss her and wish she was still here.
“Every day I walk past the spot where I buried her ashes. Sometimes, if there’s no one else around, I’ll have a little chat with her.”
