Barcelona secured qualification
to the Champions League last-16 as group winners, and Luis Enrique
saluted his players after they won 2-0 at Celtic.
Manchester City's draw away at Borussia Monchengladbach ensured the Catalans could no longer be caught in top spot, and the Asturian insists the players should be commended for making it through a
difficult group.
"It was hard," said the Barcelona boss.
"We should congratulate ourselves because we are guaranteed to finish first with one game remaining."
Enrique also explained why he substituted Gerard Pique and Neymar at Celtic Park.
"Pique was tiring in the first half and that's why he was replaced," he added.
"While with Neymar it was more a case of controlling the situation.
"He could have been sent off and was in need of a rest."
