50th position in the November ranking released by FIFA on Thursday. Gernot Rohr's men are now 8th in Africa,behind
Senegal, Côte
d'Ivoire, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, Congo DR and Burkina Faso.
Argentina are number one in the world, closely followed by
Brazil, with current world champions Germany placed in the third position.
