Today, a federal High Court sitting in Kano that presided
over by Justice Z.B Abubakar ordered the forfeiture of the sum of $9,772,00 and
£74,000 recovered from a building owned by former GMD of NNPC, Mr. ANdrew
Yakubu to the federal Government. This was a follow up of an order sequel to
an
ex-parte application filed by anti graft body, EFCC seeking an interim
forfeiture of the recovered money which Yakubu alleged it was gift to Federal
Government.
