Boy, four, who died after heart surgery at a scandal-hit children's hospital was left so dehydrated by nurses that he was found sucking liquid from wet wipes

Sean Turner died in March 2012 from a brain haemorrhage after previously suffering a cardiac arrest, six weeks after he underwent corrective heart surgery. A Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsman inquiry
found evidence of 'service failure' and said the Bristol Children's hospital was guilty of 'maladministration'. University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust said it was 'sorry' for its failings. The Ombudsman listed 22 failings and said Sean was denied 'the best possible chance of survival' because of failings by doctors and nurses.
