It has emerged that Tara Palmer-Tomkinson's body was discovered at her
luxury London apartment by her cleaner. She was found dead in her luxury
London flat yesterday aged 45 following a battle with a brain tumour -
days after builders said they heard a 'loud bang' from her home. The
Portuguese cleaner, who is in her 30s, arrived at Tara's west London
flat at around 1.30pm on Wednesday and was heard crying by
builders renovating the apartment below. Minutes later the cleaner set off the alarm and an ambulance arrived with several paramedics, followed by three police cars. Undertakers took Tara's body away yesterday evening. The revelations come as a friend appeared on This Morning to claim she had relapsed 'into a dark place'. Ivan Massow said: 'She was facing a lot of problems. The recurring issue [was] that it was very hard for her to stay off drinking and things. She was never comfortable to see herself as an older person - she never saw that as her role, and that was very hard for her. She was very frail.'
