Manchester City star John Stones splashes out £3.4million on a luxury Cheshire mansion with its own LAKE as he 'begs his long-term girlfriend for forgiveness after cheating on her'

England international Stones, 22, purchased the stunning rural property (pictured) near Knutsford, which boasts landscape gardens and an indoor swimming pool. The second most expensive defender of all-time, hit the headlines last November after it was
claimed he cheated on childhood sweetheart Millie Savage (Stones and Savage, inset) by bedding marketing executive Jessica Peaty at Salford's £900-a-night Lowry Hotel. And now Stones could be looking to make things up to Millie, who he has dated since the age of 12, by forking out for the impressive two-acre site, half-an-hour's drive from City's Etihad Campus training ground.
