Dr Unt Tun Maung (pictured left and
right with his wife outside Hull Crown Court), 45, was jailed in April last
year for attacking a 19-year-old girl when she visited the centre in Teesside
complaining of chest pains.
The devout
Buddhist was accused of cupping the woman's breasts after telling her to
remove her bra. But
the father of one has now been cleared of sexual assault
after winning a retrial. Speaking outside court, the doctor said he felt 'very
relieved'. The doctor was suspended from practice in October 2013 and faces
another hearing over whether he can work again.
