Russian boy and girl, both 15, livestream shootout with police after running away together and even post photos on Instagram before killing themselves

The boy, named Denis (seen firing out of the window in the horrifying footage), had shot the mother of the girl, who was named Katya, in the leg. The teenagers said they feared decades in jail if they surrendered. On a Periscope live stream, Katya is seen stating: 'We have zero options.' And Denis added: 'If we don't
surrender, we die. But if we surrender, we will never see each other again.' Russia's children's ombuds woman described the suicides as a 'terrible tragedy'. The 15-year-olds were found dead inside a house surrounded by weapons in the northwestern Russian Pskov region after the standoff. The teenagers transmitted footage of their last hours in which they smoked, drank and answered classmates' messages. They referred to conflicts with their parents and said they had been holed up in the house for three days.
